Cookie Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

CinemaLive (“we”, “us” and “our”) operates www.cinemalive.com. This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies, local storage, session storage, scripts, tags and similar technologies (together, “technologies”) on our website.

The controller is CinemaLive. Our current published contact address is Hazelwood House, 2nd Floor, 53 New Oxford Street, London WC1A 1BL, United Kingdom. For questions about this policy or your privacy rights, contact us at info@cinemalive.com.

2. Your choices

When you first visit the site, you can choose Accept all, Reject all, or Customize settings. Non-essential technologies are off by default and are not used unless you give the relevant consent. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.

You can change or withdraw your choices at any time by selecting Cookie Settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future use of the relevant non-essential technologies. It does not by itself remove cookies already held by a third party; you can also remove those through your browser settings. Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

3. Why we use technologies

Some technologies are necessary for the website, security, or for recording your cookie choice. Other technologies help us measure site use or play an embedded video. We only use a technology for the purpose described below.

Category	When we use it	Choice
Strictly necessary	To remember a cookie choice and provide core site and security functions.	Always on where necessary for that purpose.
Functionality	To play a YouTube video when you choose to use it.	Only with functionality consent.
Analytics	To understand how visitors use the site and improve it.	Only with analytics consent.

4. Cookie and technology details

The list below reflects the technologies identified during the CinemaLive production technical review on 24 September 2026. We review it when the site, tags, embedded services or consent configuration changes. A technology may not appear on every page; for example, YouTube technologies are used only when a visitor elects to play a YouTube video after giving functionality consent.

5. Consent, legal basis and preference record

We use non-essential technologies only with your consent. We use the preference record only to remember and apply your choice and to show the correct version of this policy. If we introduce a new non-essential purpose or make a material change to this policy, we will ask you to make a new choice.

Our consent preference tool is supplied by usheru as the CinemaLive website platform. usheru is distinct from the third-party providers listed above, such as Google/YouTube.

6. International transfers

Google and YouTube may process information outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, the applicable provider is responsible for using the transfer mechanism and safeguards described in its privacy information. Please review the provider privacy links in the tables above.

7. Your rights and complaints

Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, contact us using the details above. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or to your local supervisory authority where applicable.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our technologies, providers, purposes or legal obligations change. We will publish the updated version here and show its new “Last updated” date. Where a change affects consent, we will request a fresh choice before using the new non-essential technology or purpose.
